GSP is recovering from a goin injury, Hardy's been on a tear. This could be an interesting match up. Can't say that I wouldn't like to see hardy win this one.

So it looks like the scheduled fight of Lil' Nog vs Brandon Vera has been dropped due to Lil Nog getting injured.

It is being reported that Lil Nog's replacement will be Jon "Bones" Jones.

I have to admit, I like this match up better.

Light weight Dominant Champ
Welter weight Dominant Champ
Middle weight Retardedly Dominant Champ
Light heavy weight No can hold the belt because they tooling each other.
Heavy wesight Champ is always hurt or in legal limbo division.

I think the title pictures here not as entertaining as it could be.

I'm almost caught up!!!

Props to [info]nonpostmodern for going all in and getting 8 out of 9 predictions correct. Well done!!! You had the biggest win of the night, a total of $700 MMA DOLLAR$.

Due to Caol Uno VS Fabricio Camoes' going to a majority decision draw, it did not count.

The winning favorite of the night was Paulo Thiago who won a decision over Jacob Volkman. Thiago received 15 out of 16 votes. The underdog winner was Brian Foster who defeated Brock Larson in a 2nd round TKO. Brian Foster had only received one vote out of 12 that belonged to the big winner [info]nonpostmodern.

Can it be... a UFC title is going to be defended?? Okay, maybe it just seems like it has been awhile to me.

I think this makes a pretty decent main card, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Now let's see who we think will be the winners.

Strikeforce: Fedor VS Rogers

Still trying to catch up....

Props to [info]konichiwacobra who went all in and got 7 out of 9 predictions correct and [info]brandawg who got all 5 of their predictions correct. You won yourself $500.

Almost everyone became a winner after this event. The winning favorite was a no brainer, Fedor Emelianenko received all 14 votes and did not disappoint with his 2nd round TKO of Brett Rogers. The underdog winners were Shamar Bailey who won a unanimous decision over TUF veteran John Kolosci and Christian Uflacker who also won a unanimous decision over Jonatas Novaes. Both Bailey and Uflacker received 2 out of 5 votes submitted.

Like most people I was disappointed that Rashad wont be fighting Rampage this weekend in Memphis, however when I took a good look at the match ups on 108 EVERY SINGLE FIGHT is a solid match up. Good work Joe Silva! There isnt a superstar main event but every match looks like it will be competitive.

Main Event

Rashad Evans (13-1-1) vs. Thiago Silva (14-1) - sets up possible #1 contender match
Carlos Condit (24-5) vs. Paul Daley (22-8-2) - good test for both fighters
Joe Lauzon (18-4) vs. Sam Stout (20-5-1) - two young guns and good test for Lauzon
Tyson Griffin (14-2) vs. Jim Miller (15-2) - sets up possible #1 contender match
Junior Dos Santos (10-1) vs. Gilbert Yvel (36-13-1) - great test for JDS

Preliminary Bouts:
Sean Sherk (33-4-1) vs. Rafaello Oliveira (9-2)
Cole Miller (15-4) VS. Dan Lauzon (12-2)
Martin Kampmann (15-3) vs. Rory Markham (16-5)
Vladimir Matyushenko (23-4-0) vs. Steve Cantwell (7-3-0)
Mark Munoz (6-1) vs. Ryan Jensen (14-5)
Mike Pyle (19-6-1) vs. Jake Ellenberger (21-5)
